It's been a joy reading and watching you challenge yourselves with your immersion into this experience. I have no doubt that you've each grown exponentially and that you'll bring your knowledge and insights back to all of us in our respective schools and communities. I can only imagine the work that went in to planning this: your teachers are to be commended. Best wishes for a safe journey home! (Ben and Kristina, I can't wait to talk to you about your time on this tour!! You all have given up your time to learn about our world history! Many people choose to forget or avoid this very sad chapter of world history! You all have chosen to learn about and were afforded the opportunity to visit the sites of these horrific events. I am sure this trip has given you a different perspective in life. As I read the blog numerous references were made to "how did this

happened" and "ordinary people" participated in The holocaust! This is sad but true! This trip will make you greater leaders in our world so as to ensure this never happens again.

I would sincerely like to thank all if the teachers who arranged this trip and the New Milford School District! I encourage you all to spend your time on the planes tomorrow looking over your pictures and journal entries and reflect on what you saw and wrote again. write about how you feel now looking back on your pictures and entries and think about how everything has played a part in your learning experience these past two weeks.

Remember your journey is not over it is just beginning now it is your responsibility to educate everyone who is not as fortunate as you to see everything first hand and make sure history never repeats itself.

Have a safe flight home!!

Also T, Chang, Mrs.Bauman and Ms. Sussman I would like to thank you for everything you do for this trip every year!! I hope you all know that you help touch and change the lives of many. I know this trip changed me in the best way possible and I am sure every student that you all have brought on this trip is grateful for the experience you have been able to bring them through. Keep up the good work, you are all my inspiration!

CherilynCherilyn Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09302482872325435090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1853315305145295325.post-41021253305637966022012-04-06T20:24:56.151-04:002012-04-06T20:24:56.151-04:00I enjoyed following all of you on your journey.
